Using the Lessons: Helpful Hints

Use Your Back Button! – If you want to return to the previous page, the easiest way is to click the “back button,” in the top left corner of your browser window. If the back button is greyed out and cannot be used, this means a new browser window has opened. To return to the previous window, close the current window by clicking the “X” (close button) in the upper right corner of the window.
Printing a Lesson – Each Lesson Plan and and its associated handouts are available in printable form, in PDF format. Please see below, for additional information.
Learning Outcomes - Each lesson is linked to learning outcomes.  Click on the icon for your territory to get to a list of the subjects for your grade that contain learning outcomes relating to the lesson. Click on the blue underlined subject, and you’ll jump directly to the specific outcomes.
Handouts – Many lessons have teacher or student handouts.  To get to the handouts for the lesson, make sure you click the handout icon.
Backgrounders – To get the background information your students will need for the lesson, click on the linked Backgrounders.  These are listed in the Background Information section of the lesson.
Student Exchange – This feature allows you to post classroom work on the web.
